A massive thank you to the staff and students of KGV for welcoming me this past week. It was such a highlight for my trip here in Hong Kong. KGV definitely has one of the most impressive Visual Arts High-School Department I’ve seen, including five studio classrooms, five full-time talented and dedicated art teachers, a technical officer, fully equipped printmaking and ceramic facilities (even an etching press!). Great staff with super talented students! I still can’t believe the students were writing and researching about me as an artist ❤

“The portrait freezes violence and tragedy, but it is the eyes that rivet attention… By focusing on the face and by enlarging it into a scale so big, it almost gives the audience a reason to stop and look…”
