Sentenced for three years for “uttering a forged acceptance” on the 15th of March 1872. Claudius Marquis is a ‘half-caste’, Portuguese & Chinese Clerk and native of Macao. He has a small scar on the left and right side of his head, several pock marks on his forehead, a pockmark on left side of chin, two scars left shoulder blade and a scar outside on the calve on his left leg.
