<sup>Emerging Islands was conceived within an ‘archipelagic’ framework that imagines the Philippines island structure as a model for dialogue, collaboration and community story-telling. It was within these conditions that I was able to cultivate new approaches to expanded drawing practices and community engagement within my works.
